Jackson’s Got Volleyball: A Major Success!

Our annual Jackson’s Got Volleyball Tournament, previously known as Macho Volleyball, took place on Friday, March 10th -- and needless to say, it was a huge hit! Not only did the event raise over $1000, but it also instilled spirit and excitement within the students at Jackson. This was the first ever fundraiser event hosted by the class of 2026 -- Ellen Lee, Freshman Class President, said, “Setup went very smoothly and we had a lot of help from our Congress, which was great!”

During the event, each team was placed into the bracket and played multiple rounds, moving up with each win, and playing within the loser's bracket if they faced defeat. Each team had the option of creating a team name while taking part in a friendly competition, which created an even more exciting and unifying environment. Although team Awesome Sauce lost their first game, they won all of their games in the loser bracket which took them to the finals against Mostly Rice. It was a close match -- however, Mostly Rice ultimately took the dub and received the famous golden volleyball! The team was beyond thrilled to have won, taking on the name of last year's tournament champions.

ASB is thrilled to be bringing back Jackson’s Got Volleyball as a core timberwolf tradition. We anticipate that it will continue to shine as one of Jackson's most successful events. After the results of this year and increased awareness, we have much to look forward to in the years to come!
