SPIRIT WEEK

After a long year of isolated, online classes, one way to jump back into school spirit is Homecoming Spirit Week! There were some classic Spirit Days, like Friday’s Jackson Spirit and Tuesday’s Decade Day, as well as some new ones like “Anything But a Backpack”.

For Monday’s Character Day, characters across the board were seen, from a Timothee Chalamet/Pete Davidson Duo by Brooklyn Conant and Ciaren Rounds, to Sans from Undertale by Gunnar Tarbox, to Flo from Progressive by Lindsay Koo.

For Tuesday’s Decades Day, outfits ranged from Olden Times to Y2K.

For Wednesday’s Anything But a Backpack Day, there were coolers, cones, and suitcases--anything you could think of-- but no backpacks!

For Thursday, Class Colors Day, freshmen showed off their purple, sophomores put on their blue, juniors rocked their red, and seniors donned their pink.

Finally, for Friday’s Extreme Jackson Spirit and Homecoming Parade, all that could be seen was Jackson’s green and black.

Not only were these dress-up themes fun to participate in, but they allowed students to connect with their friends and staff to connect with students based on what they were wearing!
